A May wedding in the Ottoman Suite
Sarah and Kamran gathered 320 guests for a warm-weather celebration built around the Diamond Collection.
Sarah and Kamran chose the Ottoman Suite for its scale and its light. Three hundred and twenty guests. A long walk down a candlelit aisle. Fresh peonies at every place setting.
The day
The reception opened with the family’s own gol gappy station and a slow procession of canapés under the gold vaulting of the suite. Guests were seated by seven for a five-course banquet from the Diamond Collection: kebabs from the tandoor, biryani cooked in the sealed dum, and a live jalebi counter that ran until the last dance.
The couple had asked for a quieter mehndi three nights earlier in the Persian Suite. That evening ran to eighty guests and finished with rose kulfi under the arches.

The Ottoman Suite was breathtaking on the day. Our guests are still talking about the food and the way the family looked after us from the first meeting. — Sarah and Kamran
